James Howlett, also known as Logan and most famously as Wolverine, is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics universe. He was created by writer Len Wein and artist John Romita Sr., and first appeared in "The Incredible Hulk" #180 in 1974.
James Howlett was born in Alberta, Canada, in the late 19th century to wealthy landowners. After witnessing his father's murder at a young age, Howlett's mutant abilities began to manifest, including his retractable bone claws and accelerated healing factor.

As Wolverine, he became a member of the X-Men and one of the most iconic and popular characters in the Marvel universe.
Known for his gruff personality, fierce loyalty, and brutal combat skills, Wolverine is a complex character with a long and tumultuous history. He has appeared in numerous comic books, films, and television shows, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest superheroes of all time.
